Straight from far-east Asia, with a couple of detours to the US and UK, Nobuko is an exotic artist with a talent as rare as her soul. She is a flutist, Shinobue (Japanese bamboo flute) and nay player, as well as a composer. A passionate and emotive performer, Nobuko draws influences from across the world, embracing and transcending traditions. She has performed her own compositions at the prestigious New York Carnegie Hall, and is currently performing with the OUMI Ensemble. Her Japanese roots mixed with her international experience make for a flavorful show bound to be engraved in spectators’ minds.
