How was Cats Production born?
Since the beginning of my musical career, I’ve always loved sharing the stage with other talents, as well as learning and creating art with them. I truly believe that there are so many gifted artists in Lebanon, and it is my drive to connect with them and try to offer them as much exposure as I can. That is why I founded Cats Production, which allowed me to find these talents and fall in love with their stories. Now why the name Cats? That’s a different story.

How long have you been in the business?
I started my career at the age of 15 – which means that I’ve been in the business for the past 13 years.

What makes Cats Production stand out?
Cats Production relies heavily on diversity, as well as creating a platform for young, fresh and dynamic talents looking to express their passion to an eager audience. One of the most important factors that sets Cats Production apart from others in this field is its family business atmosphere, and the closeness between all of its constituents. Also, our team is formed by artists from the four corners of the world, making us a culturally rich company. Everybody would want to be a cat! Or just watch one perform.

What does it take to be a Cat?
You have to have watched “The Aristocrats”! Kidding… We value passion, and uniqueness, whether in your sound, looks or persona. You have to have the urge to say something, loud and clear through your singing, your playing, your dancing and your acting. You have to be devoted to your art and be able to reinvent yourself every day.

He completes me.
Our chemistry lead to a perfect fusion and match of two talents who have the same vision. Not to mention that Kris and I have been partners in our artistic careers since 2007.

How was Cats Production born?
Manel first approached me with her idea of “Cats Production” in early 2014, and it wasn’t long before I was on board to share this dream with her. We were just at the right place at the right time to finally start this adventure.

How long have you been in the business?
I started my career as a singer at the age of 17, performing in various events and concerts.

The fact that Cats production is founded by two singers & artists makes its approach uniquely different; we understand what the market needs but most importantly we seek innovation and artistic flair. We’d never compromise our artistic integrity for work, and that’s what gives Cats Production its genuine and professional feel. We speak both the client’s and the artist’s language.

We look for artistic integrity, individuality and passion.
Recruiting talents, as fun as it sounds, is never an easy task. It takes so much more to be a Cats Production artist than just talent. We look for artists who are eager to grow and work on their artistry and identity, artists with beautiful souls and energies, artists who share our vision and are not afraid of new challenges.

Cats Production is an international entertainment company founded in 2012 by the two internationally acclaimed artists Manel El Mallat & Kristian Abouanni.
